About JBA Finance

First established in September 1997 by John Boast as a home based business in Buderim Qld. In 1999 we joined with Australian Finance Group, AFG, who are the largest independent Australian mortgage broker aggregation business in Australia. This change saw further growth over the years to the point where an office was needed and in 2001 a suitable location was found in Mooloolaba Qld. At which time staff were also employed to meet the growing customer demand for a more personal home loan service. In 2002 the current name and logo were adopted to reflect the continued growth and variety of services now on offer. Geoff Collins brought the business of John in Early 2005, as John decided to pursue other interests, but still works for JBA Finance Solutions on casual basis on request.

Geoff Collins - Director

Employed with the National Australia Bank from 1978 until 2000. Was a lending officer and or branch manager from 1983 until 2000 when Geoff resigned and purchased a small business on the Sunshine Coast. In 2002 joined JBA Finance as senior mortgage consultant. Purchased the business January 2005. Geoff brings a wealth of knowledge for consumer, commercial and rural lending and a can do attitude.
